Availability

I keep a deliberately small practice. This allows me to hold the number of clients I can work with at full attention, and it means openings are limited. If there is no opening at the time you write, I will tell you directly rather than place you on an indefinite list.

Before You Book

The first session is not intake paperwork. We look at what brought you here and what is actually holding the pattern in place. By the end of it you should have a clearer picture of the structure you are dealing with, and enough information to decide whether to continue with me.

This work suits people who want to understand how their situation is built. If what you need right now is immediate crisis support or a formal psychological assessment, I am not the right person, and I will say so and point you elsewhere.

Length of Work

I do not ask for a commitment to a fixed number of sessions, and I do not work toward keeping people in therapy. The aim is for you to understand your own system well enough to carry it yourself. Most clients finish.

The pace depends on what you are working with and on what you do between sessions. We review where we are as we go.

Insurance Coverage

My services are supervised by a licensed psychologist and are eligible for reimbursement under most extended health insurance plans in Ontario. Please confirm with your provider whether coverage includes services delivered by a Registered Psychologist.

A detailed receipt will be provided after each session for insurance or tax purposes.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

  • Payment is due at the time of the session by e-transfer
  • Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice
  • Late cancellations and missed sessions are charged in full

Languages Offered

Sessions are available in English, Ukrainian, and  Russian. You are welcome to move between languages within a session — many people find that certain material is only reachable in one of them.

Confidentiality

All sessions are confidential and conducted in accordance with the standards of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, and the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals. Limits to confidentiality are explained in full at the first session.
